Getting started in your agility training journey can sometimes feel over whelming with all the options and information out there. We have listed the agility classes in the order we recommend you take them.
Agility Program
This is not your average agility program. We’ve deconstructed every aspect of agility to design a curriculum that will build exceptional foundations for any dog dreaming of agility. This program is for dogs and handlers of all skill levels.
We’ll be working on building your dog’s body awareness, overall self-confidence, physical strength, flexibility and coordination. We’ll even cover the foundations for handling so you and your dog will be confidently communicating and ready to conquer obstacle courses by the end of the program.
AGILITY FOUNDATIONS
In this fun class, we’ll get the dogs started on their agility path., We’ll motivate and encourage our dogs to think and try new things. They will be introduced to the tunnel, table, the agility tire, planks, stations, training aframe and dogwalk.
Prerequisite: Dogs 6 months or older. Some obedience training recommended.
The session of four – 1 hour classes cost $175.

AGILITY OBSTACLES 1
This is where real agility training starts! In this class, we’ll introduce the regulation aframe and dogwalk, and weaves.
Prerequisite: Dogs 8 months or older and successful completion of Agility Foundations. Dogs must be crated.
The session of four – 1 hour classes cost $175.

AGILITY OBSTACLES 2
In this class, we’ll work on completing 6 and 12 weaves. Sequencing and distance work to the weaves, a-frame and dogwalk.
Prerequisite: Dogs 8 months or older and successful completion of Agility Obstacles 1. Dogs must be crated.

ALL AGILITY COURSEWORK CLASSES- dogs must be trained on all obstacles. Dogs must be crated.
Agility Coursework Classes
AGILITY COURSEWORK 1
This class will prepare you and your dog to run agility courses. You will learn how to change your dog’s direction, start sequencing obstacles and begin working on line drive.
Prerequisite: Dogs 10 months or older, 80% success rate on all obstacles.
The session of four – 1 hour classes cost $175.

AGILITY COURSEWORK 2
We will be focusing on naming & training your dog’s verbal cues and changing your dog’s direction in a course. Agility Coursework 2 is designed for Intro level handlers and dogs.
Prerequisites:
Dogs 1 year or older. Must be trained on all obstacles. Successful completion of Agility Coursework 1.

AGILITY COURSEWORK 3
An agility course will be worked on each week. We will be focusing on improving course skills and strategy. All obstacles will be included in the courses.
Prerequisites:
Dogs 1 year or older. Must be trained on all obstacles.

ADVANCED AGILITY COURSEWORK
Handling techniques involve a blend of various elements: movement, positioning, footwork, hand signals, and verbal cues. The key principle is that the handler must be consistent in training and avoid sending mixed signals to the dog.
This class will cover various crosses, sends, turns, spins, and pushes. Along with distance and layering skills, we’ll work on learning how to select and apply handling techniques effectively.
