K9 Nose Work classes are designed to develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. This class is sure to be lots of fun for your dog, it will help to build your dog’s confidence and will burn tons of mental and physical energy.
One of the things we love most about this sport is that it can work for any dog as it works with their innate ability to use their nose. The way the classes are structured, only one dog searches at a time. This sport is appropriate for the pet dog owner who wants to have fun and give their dog more mental stimulation.
Dog must be at least 3 months old unless given permission by trainer first. No prior training required for Introduction to K9 Nose Work.

INTRODUCTION TO K9 NOSE WORK
Ohhh that smell! Over this 4-week class, we will introduce your dog to the art of hunting, boxes and the “primary reward”. Primary reward gives your dog the opportunity to find food without handler involvement and will build canine confidence.
Prerequisite: none. Four – 1 hour classes costs $175
INTERMEDIATE K9 NOSE WORK
Can’t You Smell That Smell? We start to pair treat with scent (birch) while searching assorted items in addition to boxes. Transition to scent (birch). Team should be able to pass Birch ORT before proceeding to next level.
Prerequisite: Introduction to K9 Nose Work. Four – 1 hour classes costs $175
ADVANCED K9 NOSE WORK
Scratch & Sniff! Introduction to exterior and vehicle searches with Birch, Anise and Clove.
Prerequisite: Intermediate K9 Nose Work. Four – 1 hour classes costs $175
MASTERS K9 NOSE WORK
Smell-a-thon! We will start to introduce elevated and multiple finds.
Prerequisite: Advanced K9 Nose Work. Four – 1 hour classes costs $175
