Whether your dog expresses their emotions with big, dramatic behavior or keeps them quietly tucked away, this class is for you. We’ll take a deep dive into the most effective Control Unleashed skills for helping dogs with big feelings build confidence, resilience, and calm.
In this class, you’ll learn to support your dog’s emotional and physical well-being in a way that naturally lowers arousal, encourages healthy behavior patterns, and promotes both physical and cognitive comfort—all without needing access to triggers or formal training setups. This approach transforms how your dog feels from the inside out, creating a calmer, more confident, and resilient companion—ready for whatever their lifestyle demands.

Control Unleashed is designed to help “dogs with issues” learn how to relax, focus, and work off leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations.

CONTROL UNLEASHED PATTERN GAMES FOR SPORTS AND LIFE SKILLS
This class is for dogs who have trouble with the environmental conditions they meet in their life with you. Is your dog aroused by other dogs, afraid of new people, stimulated by motion, or anxious about change? Take this class to learn the foundation CU pattern games. Whether your dog stresses up or down, the Control Unleashed patterns developed by Leslie McDevitt can help!

When it comes to agility, the most successful agility dogs are the ones who can retain the best thinking brains. Whether it’s in the ring or outside of the ring, the agility environment can be a lot. That can cause a bunch of feelings! And those feelings can lead to all kinds of behaviors that aren’t helpful for your agility performance. Train your dog to be able to think in the face of what once distracted them and have the clarity you need to move successfully forward on your agility journey.

TOTAL SPORTS FOUNDATIONS: SKILLS FOR A VERSATILE CANINE ATHLETE
We’ll cover all the essential concepts needed to build a strong foundation for a successful performance dog—no matter which sport or activity you pursue. This course places a strong emphasis on developing a functional, working relationship with your dog while encouraging an operant, thinking-based learning style.
This class is ideal for dogs just starting in sports as well as those looking to refine existing skills.
